Since 1989 the senior
staff of Alacrity has been assisting clients in the relocation of
high value computer equipment. We have successfully relocated
servers, and other sophisticated equipment for clients ranging from
private server farms, to entire factories of robotic equipment.
Our niche in the market is to serve the short notice, and/or short
transit time customer.
Our senior staff consists of 12 seasoned computer professionals with
years of practical experience, and many advanced academic degrees.
Although we use a variety of insurance carriers for specialized needs,
or primary insurer is CNA. All of our jobs are automatically
covered by 1 million USD per incident liability coverage. Each
move or relocation is carefully planned to meet the clients time, cost,
and risk objectives. And each project is completed with an
appropriate combination of company and commercial equipment, specialized
padded trucks, hi-stress packaging, etc. But most important,
is our emphasis is to ensure the quality of the off-site handling of all our customers equipment.
We specialize in those projects where the replacement value of the
equipment exceeds $75K USD, for domestic relocations, and $200K USD for
international projects.
Our minimum for most jobs is about $6K for domestic projects, and $20K
USD for international relocations.
Our senior staff is housed in our east coast offices
on a converted farm in northern Virginia. We also maintain regular

Note: In April 2011 Alacrity dropped the
name High Technology Movers, from our site and promotion. This is
because many companies had taken the name that we spent 15 plus years
building a reputation for, and performed shoddy work. We have
hundreds of references and these companies damaged our brand.
